First time here and nothing but good to say about this place! There were 5 of us and everyone enjoyed their food. I had the chicken cordon bleu and would definitely recommend it! I would definitely get again; however the menu has so many choices I would experiment the next time. I was on the fence between the cordon bleu and the captains feast. The service was excellent and the vibe was just a pleasant place to be. I look forward to returning!
This is a wonderful, beautifully restored antique series of buildings put together into the most welcoming and delightful place. We were recommended by one of their neighbors. The Rock ridge produce to come on over and try the pastries and we split a cinnamon roll that my friend said was absolutely the best she has had and then we had the zapato omelette and some green tea. It was a wonderful way to start the day
My family has been eating here a few times a year for several years. It's always great service and great food. Big portion sizes, so come hungry. I love the history of the place also. There are lots of antique furniture and old photos of the area.
Came in mid morning for breakfast with some friends. We're able to get a table right away. Place was busy but not packed. Looked like they only had a few staff in the front of the house, buy they were awesome. Very attentive and friendly. Food came out surprisingly quick and was great. Will definitely put this place on the rotation for breakfast.
Excellent service and food, with a very cool ambiance and rich history. For those who took issue with the 'aged' decor and appearance of the building, please bear in mind that this establishment is over 100 years old and would not benefit from becoming a soulless millennial restaurant that we already have plenty of. You can actually read the full history of the restaurant on the back of their drink menu! Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and liked checking out the old pictures up on the walls, as well as their bar.
